Horrorstör
by Grady Hendrix
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 stars
Rounding this up because this book genuinely scared the fuck out of me. I enjoyed this so much! I read this book via Kindle and I suspect that I would have enjoyed it even more had I read a physical copy, but honestly it was still so so good.
I liked Amy's character right away and even though Horrostor's message about corporations and working retail being similar to prison is a bit obvious I really didn't care. I was thoroughly entertained and I could not stop reading.
If you don't mind being spooked I highly recommend this book. The ending kind of left it open for a sequel, but I have no hopes either way.
I'm looking forward to reading Hendrix's backlist. 3 down! 2 to go!
