Okay so, I absolutely loved this book. If nothing else it is fucking hilarious, like giggle out loud like a weirdo hilarious. Alexis' inner monologue makes the entire book, who doesn't deal with trauma using humour?
Part of me loves how absolutely clueless she is to what's going on around her the entire book because she's absolutely delusional from lack of sleep and starvation, we love a realistic queen.
The main thing that lost points for me is that nothing really happens... you're distracted by the humour and confusion so much that it was only at the end of the book that I realised not a lot has been revealed. But it's so fitting with how out of the loop Alexis is that you can't really complain.
Would definitely recommend, but not if you don't like spice (even if it is only intense for like the last 30 pages)
