Lucy Score is an auto-read for me, but this one missed the mark. It was soooooo slow. I almost DNF’d at 60%. The last 20% was cute and more like the Lucy Score I’m used to, but I just can’t find myself recommending this book. I hope the next Story Lake is shorter, faster paced, and has less awkward humor in it.
