Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
3.0

(ETA: this book honestly did feel like a four for me (because, well, Patch Cip—) but after much rethinking, I figured I need to be objective when doing this rating thing, so after looking at the book objectively, what was four stars is now three. But for me it's a four. So on the actual review I still say it's a four.)

Yeah.

Yeah. I know, I know, this book has so many flaws. Major flaws. I admit I felt very "Twilight"-y reading it. I know there are so many books way better than this. But, you know, three stars on my rating means "it was eh, it didn't give me a lasting impression, I most likely won't pick up the book again in the future," whereas four stars means "it was a fun read, I liked it, I'll probably reread it someday." And I have to say, the book felt like a four to me.

The pacing is great and the humor is pretty good. At the beginning Nora's attraction to and interest in Patch was admittedly strange and wrong, but I always thought it was a fallen angel thing. It may not be the best book ever with the realest facts, but for me it was, at the very least, an entertaining read.

Give it a try. It's a "like it or hate it" book. Either you despise it or you enjoy it. I myself fall into the latter category, but I'm a fifteen year old girl.

Also, I'm a sucker for supernatural. And angels. And mysterious cute boys. And Patch Cipriano. Just, Patch Cipriano.

So yeah, four stars. Probably like, three-point-eight. But you get the idea.

((Patch Cipriano.))
