Child of Prophecy by T.E. Bradford

4.0

Her "gift" is one of the most powerful magics in existence. And if she's not careful, she could destroy everything.

Child of Prophecy has an interesting storyline and premise. The characters are unique and I really liked Nova's magic and how it made her different from others. She was powerful, but caring; emotional yet resolved to be different. And independant. I really liked her independence.

The story is quick paced and eventful. We encounter lots of action, dangerous plots, and twists with surprises. It took me a bit to understand what was going on in the beginning because we start off in the middle of the action and there aren't a lot of explanations. Over time though, everything starts to make sense and it's much easier to follow.

Also, this is a clean book. No cursing or sexual content. The action gets decently high, but it's definitely not gory. Overall, I enjoyed Nova's story and look forward to the next book! I give it 4 out of 5 stars!
