Pike
by T.M. Frazier
I was slightly disappointed with Pike. I was hoping for some extremely spicy, angsty filled scenes, as well as raging fights turned romantic in a way. Plus whatever antagonist was threatening the main characters lives. And while I got some raging fights, angst, and an antagonist, I didn't feel quite as engaged.
I love Pike. And I have since he first showed up. He's the general bad boy, dangerous, touch her and you die type that I love with all my heart.
Mickey annoys me so goddamn much. I can barely tolerate her. There's no character development. She just feels so blah to me. But hopefully that changes.
I am giving this 3 stars. I was hoping for more and I will continue to hope that it gets better in 2nd book of the duet.
