See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn

5.0

This book was beyond adorable. I am a big fan of Pride and Prejudice and this book just made me smile and laugh out loud.

Greer Gibson, is a new English teacher at a prestigious public school in Chicago. She couldn’t be more excited to start her new life, but the head of the English Department and fellow college, Arlo Turner, is not all that thrilled.

Arlo and Greer get off to the rockiest start of all first meetings. They do not get along, they do not see eye to eye when it comes to teaching and they are not afraid to express that to each other, add the pranks that Greer has been playing on him that just makes things even more unbearable.

Greer is instantly attracted to Arlo, because well, he is hot. She quickly becomes fast friends with his crowd as well as a few girl friends of her own. She even has Arlo’s sister by her side. Because of this, Arlo ends up spending more time than he wants to alongside her. As obvious as it is that they can’t stand each other, you can clearly tell that they both are instantly attracted to each other. Whether Arlo wants to admit it or not. Eventually he does

The chemistry between the two of them is electric. Whether trying to or not, it is undeniable. It was really cute watching them both fall in love and realizing they need to stop fighting it. It took Arlo a minute to catch up, as frustrating as it was, but once you peel back his layers, you can understand him. He truly is the epitome of Mr. Darcy.
