I remember when I first read this book. I was in middle school and I stayed up all night on a school night to finish it. It wasn't quite so enthralling this time, a flipping decade or so later. But the characters are still likeable and funny and the ending is still disappointingly abrupt. So kind of like all Sophie Kinsella books.
