The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy by Molly Kendall, Elizabeth Kendall
5.0

I’ve always been interested in true crime. Not about the killer but by the people involved. That the perpetrators can live seemingly double lives and leave other victims behind. I’d never been interested in Bundy hoopla. He’s been elevated to god like status when really he failed out of classes all the time and wasn’t as successful as everyone acts like he had the potential to be (in lore). Stole things regularly. Manipulated everyone on a good day. Talk of him being a charming smart guy really goes out the window when you hear about his daily life. Hearing from the perspectives of the people in his life was fascinating. They offer so much to the story and it’s obvious the years of knowing him haunted them for years as well.
