Cell by Stephen King
3.0

This book started off strong with the violence and mayhem commencing within the first 10 pages. Imagine an outbreak of the Rage virus from the film '28 Days Later' taking place in the middle of Boston. I tore through the first 100 pages or so but it really started to slow down after that. The story made quite a departure from what my expectations of the story were, and while that's often a good thing in other books, it just didn't work for me in this instance. The characters that King creates in this book are fairly interesting, however, at times it feels like they are all speaking with the same voice (if that makes any sense).
It's definitely not among my favorites of King's works but for what it's worth I enjoyed it. Although, I do find myself wishing that the resolution of the plot had been a bit more complete.
