Some Girls: My Life in a Harem by Jillian Lauren
5.0

This is the memoir of Jillian Lauren, a 16-year-old NYU dropout, and the fantastic, glamorous, and dehumanizing tailspin that ensues. When she leaves NYU, her parents cut off her financial support, and she turns to stripping as a means to support herself. Through a sequence of events, she ends up being paid to visit Brunei as a guest of the extravagant prince. Lauren is witty, insightful, and tells the story of very high-end prostitution.
