I can't say I loved this book, but I certainly can say I appreciate Mark Twain's writing and the insight he showed through the character of Huck. Twain points out a lot of profound things through Huck's relatively innocent eyes and ears and that a lot about 19th century America. Adventures truly are the stuff of Huck Finn; surprisingly I found myself eager to continue reading to find out what would happen next. The happy ending -well ok. . . .
