A Garland of Bones
by Carolyn Haines
*3.5 stars*
I rather enjoyed this novel! It kept my attention, and it had me going back and forth as to who I thought the culprit was (I changed my mind at least four times). Carolyn’s writing style reminded me of Charlaine Harris’s in the Sookie Stackhouse series, which was a nice treat since I enjoyed those books. There were some components of the book that I was confused about, but that is my fault since I did not realize that it was part of a series. I still enjoyed it, though, and am glad that I decided to check it out from the library!
