I really enjoyed this slow burn hockey romance narrated by Tor Thom and Whittin Frank. Defending the Reaper is the fifth book in this series and can be read as a standalone. This is Dave and Ellie’s story.
They had an unfortunate meet cute where Dave falls for Ellie and doesn’t everything in his power to make her his. I loved the sizzling chemistry between Dave and Ellie. This was a sweet story and I loved the banter between the characters.
It’s always a pleasure to listen to anything narrated by Tor Thom and this book was no different. I haven’t heard any of Whitton Frank’s work, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
