Let me be very clear, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ravenspire fairy tales
If you are looking for a fairy tale reimagining series to really indulge in, I recommend this one.
CJ Redwine has a way of taking the points of the tales and making them turn into something different and new and amazing.
So clearly this is the Cinderella story of the series, and no surprise the names show that.
Blue is our Cinderella... and she is full of spunk and desire to live life. Yet, she also has fears and worries... those fears are only magnified as an evil witch starts to wreak havoc on the people of Balavata.
And then we get Prince Kellan... he's a much better Prince Charming than the one from the original fairy tale... granted he's not perfect and that is what makes him such perfect book boyfriend material.
(in fact if you ever are looking for a new book boyfriend, pick up any of CJ Redwine's books, you'll get one... I'm sure of it)
Anyway, all the twists that you expect from Cinderella are in this book, but NEVER where you expect them to be... which makes the whole reading experience fun. I'm not going to say anything else and ruin the ride. But if you want to gush over this one, feel free to leave me a comment!
