this is so underwhelming. I was looking forward to Kai’s story because hes my babygirl but banks does not deserve him!!!!. When she randomly fought Rika out of jealousy there was no redemption arc for her in my eyes. I feel like their story was all over the place and PD couldn’t stick to one plot line. The switch of povs and flashbacks were confusing asf- maybe bc i read it on my kindle but that shouldn’t matter. Banks and Damons relationship boarded incestuous and I couldn’t take it. From the moment i read that they slept in the same bed together, Banks biting his shoulder (???),  his insistent need on keeping Banks “pure” or she was a “slut” and not clean I wanted to DNF but kept going for Kai. This is a 22 year old woman we are talking about!!!! Stand up Banks. Damons backstory was unfortunately heartbreaking and I understand trauma makes people different but god damn go to therapy dude.
