This book was so fun, until it wasn’t and then it hurt in the best way. I found myself caring for almost all of the characters deeply. That’s honestly not the smartest idea when you’re reading something that has a war going on in it, but I couldn’t help myself. The end of this kind of reminded me of the end of Crier’s War which is my favorite book, so I got a bit of a (sick) kick out of that. I’m very glad to own the book and cannot wait for the next one to come out.
