šŸŽ§ I’ve always enjoyed Nora Robert’s books and can’t believe it’s been so long since I read one - as they say so many books so little time šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø. This one has a unique storyline which is always a plus. It was a very slow paced listen and could have been a lot shorter as it really only got going about halfway in. The storyline was engaging but I will say the perpetrators really got on my nerves with their back and forth dialogue along. As for the other characters I really did like them and Roberts knows how to write loveable characters. You do have to prepare yourself for some major cheese ā˜ŗļø when it comes to all the different relationships. Sloan is a character I could get on board with and would definitely be interested in more reads with her featuring but the strong, independent woman persona needs to be toned down a bit as it got a little tedious. Having said that I did enjoy it but it could have been a little more condensed.
