š§ Iāve always enjoyed Nora Robertās books and canāt believe itās been so long since I read one - as they say so many books so little time š¤·āāļø. This one has a unique storyline which is always a plus. It was a very slow paced listen and could have been a lot shorter as it really only got going about halfway in. The storyline was engaging but I will say the perpetrators really got on my nerves with their back and forth dialogue along. As for the other characters I really did like them and Roberts knows how to write loveable characters. You do have to prepare yourself for some major cheese āŗļø when it comes to all the different relationships. Sloan is a character I could get on board with and would definitely be interested in more reads with her featuring but the strong, independent woman persona needs to be toned down a bit as it got a little tedious. Having said that I did enjoy it but it could have been a little more condensed.
