Underwhelming, kinda all over the place and repetitive at the same time.
Loved the transition Wren went through at the very end, liked the complexity of Oak and I do think they are cute together. Second book could maybe make for a compelling read sincewe might see a standoff between Jude and Wren but my hopes aren't high.
Plot twists and revelations were very predictable and the enemies farcically evil. Would most likely DNF if I weren't familiar with the world already.
