A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin
5.0

By far the darkest of the books to this point - things look truly bleak in Westeros. This book focuses on only about 1/2 of the main characters and some of the minor characters take on larger roles. This book leaves lots of questions but I think is also where quite a lot begins to take shape. Of course, everything I think I know and understand could change since Martin has a track record of gigantic twists and turns but he has an immense talent for tying it all together. Details that seem trivial come back to have a larger meaning later on so I've stopped trying to guess what will happen next and just go with the flow. I get a lot less angry that way!
