Possessive Heart
by Brighton Walsh
Every time I read a Brighton Walsh book, I think her hero has peaked and none can surpass them. And yet, every book, I get a new book boyfriend. Brady, Beck, Ford, Aiden…and now Chase.
Chase and Addison have a lot of history (ten years’ worth!) and I love their interactions. Chase is so obviously smitten with her, but is following her unspoken rules, so has resigned himself to be friends with benefits. Until now—it’s an all out war for her heart. But the forced proximity trope saves the day here, leading to some witty banter and some great communication. I always love how this series delves into the deeper topics and we get to know the characters even better.
Like all the Brighton Walsh books I’ve read, this one is hot and spicy, and just phew, I need a glass of water. And the way they stand up for and support each other. *swoon*
Only one more book to go in this series, I can’t wait for grumpy Levi!
