DNF at 50% | I was SO excited for this but I just didn’t like any one of the characters. The romance was so cringe worthy and inta-lovey to me and the side characters all blended into one and I just could not root for this MC. I empathized with her, but I just could NOT stand for her choices. So much conflict could have been avoided if she’d just grown a spine and learned to speak up and I knew that if I forced myself to finish this, I would have had to give it a low rating because I wasn’t enjoying myself at all and I didn’t see it getting better.
This is, of course, not to say you shouldn’t try and pick it up for yourself: it’s just that this one really could not hold MY interest and the characters got on MY nerves.
