The Perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum
by Kirsten Weiss
I love my cozies/amateur sleuth mysteries. I especially love when I find one that surprises me with how much I enjoyed it and immediately get the next in the series added to my Nook...proceed to immediately read it once this ended. I rarely if ever do this. I did in this instance because this book is SO GOOD! The characters are super, the premise is too. Maybe some of this might be because my daughter and I visited Zach Bagans' Haunted Museum in Vegas last month. Maybe. But the most of it is that I really liked everything about the story. The mystery is very well done, no idea the whodunnit but it made sense. So much to enjoy and I stayed up late to read and read some more if I woke in the night to let the Doodles out as is their want. I didn't get as much sleep as I likely should have....and I made sure to take my Nook instead of my purse book when we went to the doctor's office in case we had a wait. We did. YAY!
Anyway, this one took over my reading. It's GOOD! And I did start the next in the series immediately afterwards this morning at 0200...our Doodles like to go out and play in the snow at 0200....
I can absolutely definitely recommend this book and series and author.
