Gomorrah by Roberto Saviano

dark informative medium-paced

Kind of gonzo journalism, it felt very personal. The book is an endless series of names, people killing each other, but it's nigh impossible to track who is who, what side they're on, etc. I do think that was probably the point, the Camorra never ends and it does not matter who is at the top. It's the System. But that did make me not really care or get invested because everything was pretty surface level.
