Trials of Death
by Darren Shan
Ending good
I was going to give this book three stars only, because at the price to buy it, the book is very short (just under 200 pages i think) and I was a little disappointed with it. The trails are a slight let down, they aren't overly life threatening as told to us during the book (and at the end of the previous book), darren came away from each trail with only a few cuts and bruises and a few burns he soon recovered from. The book seemed a little rushed, like it all had to written in the set number of pages by law! However, as Darren was in tunnels escaping, I couldn't stop reading! I love that feeling, your engrossed in a book so much you wished you could read faster! The story opened up and moved on in the last 10-20 pages, and a massive betrayal at the end was not seen! The whole saga has moved on to another level and the direction of the story could take is limitless. I do look forward to getting the next one
