This wasn’t cringe so much as it was just bad. I very very rarely quit on a book, even if I’m hating it, and this was one of those. I read 80% then put it down for 2 months. I didn’t like any of the characters, the connection between the FMC and MMC wasn’t developed enough to make sense, and the plot was meh. Overall disappointing because I remember liking the other book
