It has to be illegal for the men of an entire family to be so damn amazing that I fall for each of them. Seriously. My heart can only take so much awesome before it spontaneously combusts. Then I'm left swooning and dying, and I'm too much of a romantic to die.

What is it about the Sullivan men that just turns my brain to mush? I didn't think much of Ryan since he only make cameos in the previous books. But than I started this one, and WHAM! It was like a freaking sex god just came out of nowhere! I was head over heels for him in an instant. The way he took care of Vicki, the way he looked out for her, was something out of my dreams. He absolutely treasured her like she was the most important thing in the universe. He dropped everything for her. What I really found amazing was that nothing bad happened between them. He treated her like every woman deserves to be treated: like a queen. He never hurt her. He never forced her. All he did was protect her, cherish her, and lover her. I swear I nearly melted into a puddle of swooning goo just reading it. It was perfect.

I give Vicki kudos for her strength. From the first page she is in trouble. Nothing in her life has gone according to plan, and honestly, not much of it has been very good. So when she starts losing control of a sticky situation, she gets Ryan involved which starts a chain of events neither thought would ever happen. The way she handled the bad bad men in her life and countered it with the absolutely perfectly amazing Ryan and Co. was very complimentary. She never gave up. Sculpting was her dream and she was going to prove that she deserved a spot in the art world, and she was going to get it come hell or high water. She had no delusions about what she was up against, but that never stopped her. She was afraid of things with Ryan, and rightfully so, but she followed her heart and took a chance. Her relationship with the famous baseball Sullivan was simply wonderous. I'm still fanning myself.

I don't think there was any way to make this book any better. From beginning to end it was perfect. The characters were well done. The plot was simple and captivating. And the sex was hot, steamy, and delicious. Just the way I like them! This series continues to get better with each story and is quickly earning a spot on my favorites list.
