The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston
3.0

The first book in the series had two main characters that are strong but in a toxic environment. This one had two main characters that I had difficulty wanting to spend time with for the first half of the book or so. I understand the well known story it is retelling is one of deceit and lies, so these two need to throw away their courtesy or respect of relationships to make the story an accurate retelling but it was still hard to like either character. Though it is a great commentary on how fans try to tear apart actors and attack women in particular when their unrealistic expectations for a project aren't met.
