One of my favourite dialogue moments is when Character A says oh my god or thank god and Character B responds that there is no god there, only them. Wicked and the Wallflower had such a moment as well as a main character who calls himself Devil, so it is fairly obvious that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The Bareknuckle Bastards series is one that I’ve put off reading, but I highly regret that now because I would love to have read all the books within the MacLean-universe in chronological order.
