This was a really fun and unique story. Emily's character is so interesting in reading the perspective of a character that is, in my opinion, autistic-coded. Her growth as a person, and how she and the villagers come to understand, respect and become friends was really lovely to see.
I really enjoyed all of the side-characters, and especially loved Wendell and how he works alongside Emily.
The ending felt a bit rushed, which kind of makes sense given the dream-like loss of time Emily experiences, but the entire thing felt a little lackluster when in comparison to the other two major events that happen in the book.
