Animal Farm by George Orwell

3.0

I enjoyed this book much more than I enjoyed 1984 (I loathed that book, mostly because of my feelings for the main character). My main take away? The non-Pig and non-Dog animals are basically the Qanon folks; they are so stupid they will believe anything the Pigs tell them, even when it goes against the facts of history.

A population needs to cultivate intelligence and promote education to protect and raise itself up, to have true freedom. Ignorance leads to oppression.
