To smut or not to smut… thats not really a questions this is pure vampire smut from page 1 - and you know this girl got daddy issues bc he sent her to this blood sex dungeon. Ok, i knew this was more smut than plot going into this, so with that in mind i really hated the FMC, she was very naive and reckless (not in a fun badass way), but i loved all the MMCs. The FMC is SO wishy washy, from “oh im so weak” to “im not defenseless i can take care of myself” GIRL no you cant. One minute shes passing out the next shes able to sumo lift bodies… Everything was a little TOO convenient for her, for every problem there was a very quick and non confrontational solution that “magically” appeared. And she has SO much magic that seems like it would be badass AF, but we really dont get to experience it, except maybe 2 pages near the end. This was very predictable and I trudged through slowly like I was walking in the eternal bog of stench. Oh and theres Grace… whos Grace again? It doesnt matter because shes here to serve a very convenient purpose and then gone like the wind - she had potential, tho im not impressed with the description of her book so I may pass on that.
