There was too much going on. Too much twisting of the things we already knew. A character having a new name that we knew for three books. New characters. Everything is happening everywhere.  It all felt like too much.

The ending felt better. Where (almost) everyone was back together, and things seemed to settle down for a minute at least.

I do like two new characters we got, Nouria and Sam. Give me all the strong women characters.
