Hamilton: The Revolution by Jeremy McCarter, Lin-Manuel Miranda
5.0
Like I'm not going to give this five stars! Ha!
What to say about the Hamiltome. This is the book that I pull out and sing along to the soundtrack with. It is the book I pull out to check to see if my memory remembers that this is a Mobb Deep of Biggie reference or both but I have never read it all the way through. It popped up on audiobooks that were available to check out on Libby when I was heading out to a conference and it teased me with "read by Lin-Manuel Miranda."
So, to clear that up-the last hour is read by Miranda but all of it is wonderful. The last hour is like getting an opportunity to just sit and listen to Lin tell you what he was thinking song by song. It is the greatest. Layers upon layers this thing has-enjoy the genius of it all.
