A heartwarming, feel good story that unfortunately gets held back by having too many character and too little pages.
While it is a lovely story about found family an following your heart, I found that it was lacking. Characters and their relationships seemed under developed and the stakes felt to low for the circumstances. For a story that focused so much on the characters, it honestly felt that they were crammed in during some pages just to remind the reader that they existed.
The romances also felt like they came out of the blue and didn't have much build up.
