This is one of the first YA contemporary books I've enjoyed in a long time, because it wasn't trying so. hard. There wasn't some huge, poetical revelation and the main character didn't pretend like this was going to change the course of her entire life. It was an honest story about the reality of high school instalove and how shitty the aftermath is. Super good.
