The Fallen One
by Brittney Sahin
I was a little scare, since I was picturing Carter with someone else in my mind. I stand corrected, there’s no other person better for Carter than Diana. The way the dual timelines worked, was fantastic. Carter was everything I wanted and more, daddy Carter didn’t disappoint. I was afraid not to like Diana as much, since she was new to this whole dynamic, and friends group, but I was so wrong. This was perfect! Carter is broken, but for so many reasons I didn’t expect. I had such a different story with him and his wife, but that why this is a must read! I couldn’t stop this audiobook at all, I couldn’t stop reading, it had my heart beating so fast in every single chapter. Brittney continued to be the queen of military romance, suspense and all the unexpected, unputdownable stories. There’s no way she can write a bad book, period. If you haven’t read this series. What are you waiting for? It’s absolutely phenomenal.
