The Boy with the Butterfly Mind by Victoria Williamson
3.0
This is a very cute and moving book, but at first I didn't think that. For the 150 pages or so, I really considered DNFing the book. It seemed like every time I tried to read it, I would just get more and more mad at the characters.
Not many will probably have the same feelings I did towards the characters. For me, it was really more angering because it reflected my own life. My own sister has ADHD and so I found myself reflecting on my own person irritations with it. But i'm glad I pushed through.
The ending is what really raised my rating of the book. I love the character's acceptance of themselves and others. I think this book had a really good message and was very informative. I would definitely recommend this to a child, so they are able to learn more about people and why some do what they do. It also teaches kids(and adults alike) about getting along with others.
