Heart Like Mine by Amy Hatvany

3.0

I really enjoyed the different voices the author told this story through: a young teen, her recently deceased mother, and her father's new fiancé. Each perspective was so convincingly given, I found myself on that person's "side", but then would change my mind as I read the next viewpoint. My one disappointment with this book was the ending. After dealing so well with such messy emotions, the conclusion was entirely too tidy. That knocked my rating down from a 4 to a 3 1/2.
