Soooo the moral of this story is that you can spend your entire life being shit on, and at the end of it, you get shit on again. There is no sense of justice for what she's been through; there's no resolution between either of her fellas. It just fell flat. Let me suffer on Earth and then come to your planet to suffer some more and in the midst find love and friends, but WHOOPS, sorry, you have to haul ass back to Earth after you fix all our shit, or we're going to kill you. There should have been a 4th book or a better ending cause this bit the big one. Her dad is an asshole; her sister is now Empress of the realm she saved, her one bf can't come there cause he has family, and her second bf will probably chase her down and try and drag her back. I mean, this is just sad.
