The Duke Gets Desperate by Diana Quincy

Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.

I've liked several other Diana Quincy books quite a bit but this one was just disappointing. Around 35%, I felt like there was no chemistry behind the instalust, and the MMC had no depth. I couldn't figure out why everyone liked him so much (the servants were so loyal they were willing to risk their jobs?!? And yet they'd served Deena just fine??). I switched to another book and meant to return, but frankly the other one just reinforced my boredom with this one.
