Wren’s Redemption by Stacy Lynn Hafner is book 1 in the Dark Angel Series, which as it turns out connected to the Vanished series. I read book four in the Vanished series Tattoo My Life which I LOVED so I need to go back and read books 1-3. If you like dual POV, slow burn, he falls first, revenge with redemption, spicy, romantic suspense books then you will love this book.

Wren Matthew’s went “missing” when she was 13, or so she thought. As it turns out she unknowingly joined a cult. After being hidden for 10 years she returns to Chicago on a mission to not only bring down this cult, buts its leader and to help other women who are in this cult escape. Flynn, an FBI believes Wren and everything that happened to her has decided to help her. Along the way they start to realize that the feelings they have are more than just partners.

This book was so good and unputdownable!! This story line was so well thought out, the characters flowed and were well written. It was heartbreaking reading what Wren went through. Reading what happened to her, the suspense, romance, justice, to her finally getting her redemption ugh made this book so good. I’ve become a fan of Stacey Lynn Hafner and her writing. I can’t wait for book two but will definitely be reading the Vanished series before then. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
