BOOK Review 📖- The Spy Coast-Tess Gerritseen
Plot-This plot was very believable and I could see this play out in real life once upon a time. I found it a bit repetitive at first. But that could have been me just getting used to a new author. 4.75/5
Pacing- This book pulled me in from the first pages and never let go. From great action scenes, to things I never saw coming. Right up to the very end I was invested.
5/5
Characters - Every single character was believable and relatable. It was interesting to see one character and her development from beginning to end.
5/5
Writing - As I mentioned the writing drew me in from the very start. The dialogue was flowing and believable, not corny or stilted. I truly believed the characters were friends from long ago.
5/5
Setting - being a spy thriller, the settings were all exotic Bangkok, Malta, Thailand. And you really got a sense that the author knew a little bit about each locale.
5/5
OVERALL RATING - 4.95 /5 Truly a very enjoyable read. Book #2 in the Martini club series just came out, so you can bet I'll have my eyes out for it in paperback !!
