NW by Zadie Smith

3.0

Zadie Smith knows how to use language incredibly well to make each character starring in this book feel surprisingly authentic, with enough individuality to remind you of those you feel you almost know well enough in real life. However, transitioning in some areas seems awkward or given too much detailing, which made me unsure as how to pinpoint each character's development, even while seen through the eyes of other storytellers throughout the book. Yet, each perspective of each character documenting one another is simultaneously refreshing.
