I'm writing this as I wrap up reading at 3 AM!!!! This book nearly ruined me. I had high expectations going into reading this book because I was suggested it by a couple of students and by the entirety of TickTok, so I went into it expecting a good book. What I was left with however was an amazing read that tells the story of your life that it's complicated and messy in all the best ways. I'm not going to say any spoilers because I would've hated to have had anything spoiled in this novel, but I will say that this will be a wild ass ride. When I tell you I cried at the ending of this book, I really mean that I literally was crying for an hour as I finished the last 10% or so. While I do cry at some shows and movies, it's rare that a book will bring me to tears. Maybe it was because I was seeing this older woman reflect on her life and her decisions that she may or may not have felt were mistakes in the moment or after the moment. Or maybe it was just hearing this other woman give all these negative wisdom about how to live your life and I have it love you.
