**Please for God sakes check trigger warnings on this series before reading!! I didn't know what I was getting into and it was some dark heavy and explicitly detailed about some very taboo subjects. This book series should not be read lightly**
Lana is straight up diabolical and I loved her character development over the 5 books. Logan is so passionate and devoted to his job. That is, until Lana comes along and she slowly shows him that the world isn't always black and white. Logan brings out the humanity in her and she brings out the grey areas in him. The twist was so twisty I didn't see it coming!
Was the series good? yes. Did it keep my attention glued to the page? Also yes. Would I read it again? No. Would I recommend it to friends? Honestly probably not.
I honestly wouldn't even call this dark romance. It's horror romance, so if that's your jam, be my guest! If you have any triggers, really at all, this book probably isn't for you!
