Super cute story. I'm a sucker for marriage of convenience so I loved that aspect. I also loved how persistent Cash was throughout the book.

This was quite steamy but unfortunately some of those scenes were too copycat from her previous books. But overall it was a really good book.

I'm looking forward to book 3!

So many tense moments but also full of incredibly strong women and the men who love them fiercely.

Loved how everything wrapped up.

This is a wild ride of a book. The suspense and the plot twists are typical Martinez. But so is the cliffhanger ending.

Having multiple main characters and not just two is intriguing but also a lot to keep track of. But I am enjoying the multiple perspectives. And the ending was NOT what I expected.

Already dived I to book 2.

This book basically had everything I love:

🥃Forced proximity
🐎Small town
🥃Suspense
🐎Plot twists
🥃Steam

I absolutely loved Grant and Laney as a couple. Neither is a pushover and their chemistry was off the charts. But I also loved Laney individually too. I'm a sucker for a strong female character and I loved how she stood up for herself.

The suspense part of this book was very well done. I did figure out a couple parts but overall was kept on the edge of my seat. The protective retired K9 dog was a bonus.

I'm excited to read the next book in the series.
