Every installment of this series, I fall deeper in love with the progression of the characters. Mallory and Chris are still trying to figure out their love story. Chris has never faltered in letting Mallory know that she is the only one for him despite the challenges they have faced since first meeting in college but Mallory is terrified in being hurt again.

Part 3 of this series and it did not disappoint. I'm excited that there is currently one more part because this story is definitely not over and I am excited to see how Chris and Mallory work through the never ending uphill battle for them to hopefully be together.

This book explains the beginning of the love story for Mallory and Christopher. Christopher's father wants him to marry his ex girlfriend who he is also business parters with. So he doesn't have to, Chris and Mallory decide to act like they're in a relationship to trick those around them but unbeknownst to each other, they both have feelings that continue to develop that they're trying to ignore. This book was tense as there were a lot of topics they had to work through and learning to trust and love again. It also leads way to two more parts in this series.

I love a good second chance love story! Jaxon and Amina were in love and unfortunately it didn't work out for them but Jaxon always knew it was Amina for him. With an upcoming vacation because their siblings are getting married, Jaxon gets the ball rolling on putting his plan in motion to win back Amina!

I decided to read this after hearing a lot about this book. It was good but not great in my opinion. I may have to re-read because I think I missed a few things as the plot developed.

Apparently I am a sucker for 2nd chance at love books and this one did not disappoint. Dresden moves back to his hometown with his twin daughters after the passing of his wife. His plan was to throw himself into work but life had other plans. Harper is raising her two sons in a unique situation - she lives with her ex husband as he is going through cancer treatment. Harper is learning to grieve for her ex and their relationship while he is still in the living form and then she meets Dresden. Robbi didn't disappoint!

Alexis has moved back home after the passing of her husband and is raising two kids under 4. Upon relocating, she sees that life has continued in her hometown and her family and friends are all still connected to her high school sweetheart who she imagined she would've built a life with had things gone perfect as planned. Jaceson stayed in their hometown after high school and college and after a failed marriage, he runs into Alexis after she recently moved home. This book shows that things are supposed to work out in the way that they should and not how we force it to.
