Short Review: At best, this book is short read that can add to your collection. At worst, this is a piss poor attempt at tackling a serious topic.
One day, I would love to take about this book more in depth. But for now, I'll keep it short. Instead of taking the chance to write about the complex mentality that school shooters tend to take. I mean, seriously, these are kids taking the most extreme road. Deciding to take the life of others because they believe there is no other option. But that's not what this is.
Instead, we see a really horribly written and flat book with cardboard cutout "diverse" characters. With romance, oddly enough, taking a very prominent place in the plot. Not to mention, very shitty police work. It took them far too long to go after Tyler.

Short Review: The next book in the Twilight series. Sigh. Well, I can say without a doubt that it's pretty much consistent to the vibe and flow of the previous novel. This time we focus on Bella and Jacob. Oh boy, Jacob. One thing I will thank the movies for is making him MUCH more tame.
I also think it was a huuuuge waste to limit your werewolves to be the only enemy for a vampire. Why not include other mythical creatures and make the stakes way higher? Not to mention break up drama that shouldn't have existed.
Still, the novel was still fun to read and react to like the previous one but could have done without the half ass attempt at plot to fill up space in the series.
Next Up: Eclipse

Short Review: This book wasn't my favorite. I think if someone ask me for a somewhat realistic abusive relationship, I would point to this book.
But, I found the idea of her marrying some guy that she met 4 months prior to be the sole reason why she never considered red flags in the relationship. And also the idea of her falling in love AFTER said abusive relationship ends? It just takes away from what could have been good representation.

Short Review: With this being my first time consuming Harry Potter, I can see why everyone loves the series.
But at the same time, I found a lot of the things in this novel to be problematic for me. Giving Harry to a poor home. The Slytherin house being set up as the "bad" house. No diversity in the friendship with said housing. Or the lack of personality that, oddly, Harry has.
Again, I would assume that this is fixed in later novels. But seeing as none of that information is present during the first installment. I leave my opinions at that.

Short Review: The films were one of my top guilty pleasures during tough times. With the release of Midnight Sun, I thought, why not read the books?
I definitely think some of the hate that people throw at this series is a bit much. Stephenie Meyer had the right idea but wrong execution.
Was definitely a fun read, however.

Short Review: I remember reading this from my childhood, and it's still a guilty pleasure to read whenever I'm going through something rough. But, I have noticed over the years how silly and bizarre some aspects of the book are. The romance is horrid for both Aspen and Maxon, that I honestly wonder how an editor or Kiera Cass herself didn't notice the enormous amounts of plot holes. Regardless, I'll be keeping this series close to my heart.
