An incredibly good read

The Rise of Islamic State by Patrick Cockburn

A brief but an interesting read, written by a highly experienced individual in the field. Casts a light on the numerous conflict points in Iraq in Syria and what's behind it. Would like to see a deeper analysis of some the the key terms in the book regarding the agendas and jihad funding from the Gulf monarchies and so on. Recommended for people who want a brief but well argued outlook on the situation in the region.
